Community and Relationships Coordinator

Salary: £23,500 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: up to 12 hours per week ideally 10-12 hrs to start
Location: Stockport / Manchester Centre and WFH HYBRID or can be fully remote
Start Date: immediate start – for a minimum of 6 months (with a view to become
permanent)


Imperfect Pointes is seeking a proactive, Community and Relationships Co-ordinator for a rewarding role in a sustainable dancewear start-up brand.


Job Purpose:
You will focus on leveraging the growing Imperfect Pointes community and customer relationships to grow brand awareness and conversion. Managing relationships with content creators, managing influencer campaigns, repurposing UGC, online reviews and endorsements plus some customer experience support and admin. Additionally, you will support with our ETSY site and growing preloved offer

This is a rewarding new P/T FREELANCER role max 12 hours per week - the right candidate will be self- motivated, a good planner and able to manage their workload effectively.

For the right person we can be fully flexible. You will be working alongside a Brand and Marketing Director with 20 years’ experience in Fashion and Sportwear - turned startup business owner / entrepreneur. This is a micro business of 3 employees, which this means you will get real firsthand experience and an opportunity to make an impact from Day 1.

Imperfect Pointes is a dynamic, innovative start up and UK’s first sustainable ballet wear brand. We are an online DTC brand with male, female and non-binary customers globally and a growing social following of dancers who believe you don't need to be perfect to do ballet.

We aim to break down stereotypes in ballet and promote inclusivity for everyone regardless of ability, size,skin colour or gender. We sell leotards and tights made from recycled nylon. We believe all dancers can look stylish with minimum impact on the planet.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the role is 10-12 hrs per week, won't be expected to do all this at once! times and days to be negotiated

  • We have created the world’s first sustainable ballet tights. With a primary focus on growing this part of our business, you will manage the day-to-day relationships with dance industry influencers / content creators.
  • Collaborate closely with the brand director/ owner to ensure alignment with overall brand messaging and objectives.
  • Ideate and co-create engaging content with influencers that resonate with our target audience and effectively communicate our brand story, working with social media manager.
  • Develop and execute creative marketing briefs tailored to specific creator campaigns aimed at maximising conversion rates and brand engagement.
  • Provide guidance and support to creators to ensure content meets brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key influencers and VIP personalities to secure long-term partnerships and advocacy for the brand.
  • Drive brand loyalty and amplify brand presence across various channels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and ballet world news to continuously refine our offer
  • Responding to reviews and following up reviews.
  • Identifying new leads for our wholesale business (not sales, just the admin part)
  • Identify and onboard emerging talent in the ballet world, with high engagement and potential for long-term collaborations.
  • Admin associated with all the above tasks

AFFILIATE PROGRAMMME:

  • Manage and oversee the gifting program, ensuring allocation of products to influencers aligned with campaign objectives.
  • Monitor gifting outcomes and track ROI to optimise future gifting initiatives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of influencer marketing / affiliate programmes is an advantage
  • Knowledge and interest in the world of ballet. You may be a ballet dancer or you have worked in the industry
  • Knowledge and interest in sustainability/ sustainable fashion
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, especially TIKTOK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers and stakeholders.

 

Imperfect Pointes is already worn by some internationally renowned dancers. Our tights are worn by ENB and Royal Danish Ballet, and we have previously had collaborations with Royal Ballet dancers and an activewear collab with the Royal Opera & Ballet.


This role is a part time / flexible position initially offered on a freelance basis. We aim to offer it to the person who is the best fit, but special consideration will be given to underrepresented candidates.


Role Includes dancewear allowance and travel / expenses budget
