Description

New design: The Eastbourne is our latest halter neck ballet leotard in white with black polka dots and a self tie neck. It brings a playful graphic print to this easy to wear open back style.

This limited edition deadstock nylon fabric was picked out by our Founder who hates textile waste of any kind. Meet your go-to for class, rehearsal, and maybe wearing out with jeans or shorts. As seen on Imperfect Pointes Muse, rising non-binary first soloist Max Richer of Ballett Zurich.

Why is it sustainable?

All of our premium dancewear is made using ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from nylon waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic recovered from all over the world. Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to it's original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-based nylon.

There are no nasties in our packaging. We use 100% compostable packaging to avoid harming the environment. Our mailers are 100% compostable in your garden compost bin, or your household food waste bin. The mailer will breakdown in 3-4 months - not hundreds of years like a normal plastic mailer. Our beautifully designed tissue paper and stickers use soy-based ink and are printed on acid-free FSC® certified paper.

I *love* this leotard! I have gotten so many compliments wearing it. It is incredibly comfortable and, most importantly, it stays in place: I tie the neck with a bow and it has never felt loose or come undone, the back doesn't fall during class, and the boob sides don't move (a huge win and insecurity of mine!). I feel secure wearing it. Because of the full front lining, sweat doesn't really show, and I am a sweater. It's a leotard that makes you feel good when you wear it :)
