What is an SAB ballet skirt?
SAB refers to the School of American Ballet. This style was first seen on Balanchine’s dancers at New York City Ballet and later adopted by the School of American Ballet. Our version combines the distinctive shorter-front, longer-back shape with a pull-on waist and your choice of colour.
What is the skirt made from?
The fabric contains 78% recycled nylon and 22% elastane. It is made using ECONYL® yarn, which regenerates nylon waste, including discarded fishing nets, into new yarn.
Can I choose the colour?
Yes. Your SAB ballet skirt is made to order in any colour from our palette, so you can coordinate it with your Imperfect Pointes leotards.
When will my made-to-order skirt be dispatched?
Allow approximately five weeks for your skirt to be made and dispatched. This is the production lead time, not the delivery time.
How do I wash my ballet skirt?
Wash at 30°C on a cool or handwash setting. Avoid fabric softener.
